ZANZIBAR TRADE UNION CONGRESS

ZATUC is the sole Trade Union National center which was established in 2002 under the Trade Union Act, No. 4 of 2001. Generally, its main function is to serve its affiliates in defending and protecting the rights and terms and conditions of work through good policies, social dialogue and technical services. The core function of its affiliates is to organize members, defend and protect their rights, terms and conditions of employment of their member/workers in the sectors they serve.
